How to Wire between different floor levels
This section describes step-by-step on how to use the Model link feature in Electrical discipline.
A Fire Protection Cable System is routed through 2 different floor levels, starting in the lower level, creating a loop in the upper level and then going back downstairs, building one closed wiring system.
Electrical discipline also creates labels for all devices, cable lists and block diagrams.
Note: this
tutorial/exercise uses 2 drawings:
floorplan_1 representing the lower floor level and
floorplan_2 for the upper level.
The Model link can be performed with any Electrical discipline drawing and any number of drawings.
